Guests appreciate the quiet environment—a respite from the bustle of daily life and a practical spot to rest between work shifts or sightseeing excursions. The location offers easy access to local trails and recreational activities, making it suitable for those who spend their days outside and their nights in simple, affordable comfort. Several guests note it is better than comparable extended-stay options, highlighting its value in the local market.
Overall, USA Economy Lodge embodies the essence of economical travel with honest, straightforward accommodations. It may not meet every traveler’s expectations for modern amenities, but its affordability, quiet ambiance, and genuinely caring staff make it a hidden gem for those willing to trade luxury for authenticity and price.

Dennis, Wendy and Juan are the best people to deal with, they usually get things done quickly and seem to like their jobs enough to do it as well care about people in general and help in any way they can. Depending on the situation I'd recommend.
Hands down this place is far better than extended stay or comfort in off of them. The oxmoor exit I would. I would have to tell you that the people here are truly amazing. I love my room. I love the view. I love the feeling and the energy around this place! It is seriously a hidden gem. Everyone who works here has a wonderful personality and is willing and ready to help you anytime you need it. Granted it's not a five star hotel but it is half the price of extended stay and way better a view and room and people. Be careful at extended stay because they were charging me almost 500 a week and in my fee was only 400. When I said something to the manager, she made me out to be a liar and made me leave. I'm so thankful she did because I found the best place ever to stay and extended stay!
if you pay weekly, it cost roughly 40 per night. even if you have pets. no deposit required. it's a hell of a hill to walk out to get to it if you don't know the trails. if you smoke in your room nobody says anything. the rooms aren't perfect but it's better than being on the street and it's excellent deal. anybody who complains about this place is an idiot that's disrespecting those of us who appreciate it. ~ Jen (of Joey)
It is quiet and its a good lowki spot to get us rest from Work and from boring People
I've been here about a year with my boyfriend, our house burned down. Absolutely best weekly rate to be found. I really wish there was a kitchenette. I'd pay more for that. Keeping costs down I understand, so be prepared for cleaning the room to be your responsibility. I bought a large rug to cover the icky carpet at Ollie's for $50, and we replaced nearly all the furniture with our own. We requested they take the furniture and they removed it within 24 hours. Very timely response to work orders like that & I.e. clogged drains. All very fixable. I appreciate the security guard at night and the no guests late night rule. It keeps things safe and quiet. Cheap motels invite roudiness and crime but they have rules in place to protect guests from such. Roaches are the only real complaint I have. They come from the room next door, the door to outside, and wall behind toilet & bathroom vent. I've paid for my own pest control because theirs is insufficient.
